From approx 16.00 hrs Saturday the 6th to 05.00 hrs Sunday the 7th of May

the Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower will reach it’s peak with a predicted ZHR of 50

unfortunately the 98% illuminated Moon will be present

this shower may well be best viewed after 02.00 hrs on Sunday the 7th of May

if you plan to observe / image this event remember to dress for the conditions
