At 23.00 hrs on Thurs the 20th of July the planet Saturn will reach opposition i.e ;-

it will be directly opposite the Sun as we see it

and the rings will be at their brightest

it would be advisable to observe / image Saturn 2-3 days before & after the date of opposition

just in case conditions are unfavourable on the 20th of July
