Jupiter & the Moon

  From approx 18.30 Hrs on Saturday the 8th of October

 Jupiter & a 98% illuminated  Moon will rise above the E- SE horizon

as they rise Jupiter will be 2.1° above & to the left  of the Moon

as this paring continues to rise into the night sky

Jupiter will continue to move to the right of the Moon

and the distance will increase to 2.7°
