Through the night of Tuesday the 1st into the morning of Wednesday the 2nd of April

along the W – NW horizon

the 16% illuminated waxing crescent Moon will occult M45 the Pleiades star cluster

the occultation will start at approx 21.00 hrs BST 20.00 hrs UTC on Tuesday

& end at approx 00.20 hrs BST 23.20 hrs UTC on Wednesday

as the Moon will only be approx 27° above the horizon

depending on your location this event may be difficult to see

if you do plan to observe / image this event remember to dress for the conditions
