Barry returns for his second lecture, this time looking at Betelgeuse (a red supergiant), that is approximately 640 light years from Earth, the 2nd brightest star in the constellation of Orion, and could be the 9th brightest star in the night sky, it is predicted to explode & become a supernova within the next Million years (give or take) a week !!
