Sigma Leonis Occulted by the Moon

From 21.00 hrs on Saturday the 23rd of March above the SE – S horizon

the star Sigma Leonis will be occulted by the 98.4% illuminated Moon

the occultation will start @ approx 21.07 around the bottom of the moon opposite the crater Tycho

and end @ approx 21.53 when the star comes out of occultation on the Moon’s right hand limb slightly below the Mare Nectaris
