From the early evening of Wednesday the 13th of March above the SW – W horizon

the planet Jupiter will be approx 3° above & to the left of a 16% illuminated waxing crescent Moon

this pairing should be visible from 18.15 – 22.30 hrs before setting below the horizon

as the evening progresses the Moon will move above but still be to the right of Jupiter

if you plan to observe this event remember to dress for the conditions
