Astronomical Event

During the early evening of Saturday the 4th of January above the S – SW horizon

the planet Saturn will be occulted by a 25% illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon

at approx 17.18 hrs Saturn will be occulted by the Moon

when it will go behind the Moon around the 11 o’clock position 

and will come out of occultation at approx 18.26 hrs around the 4 o’clock position
