A Clair Obscur Effect

During the evening of Sunday the 14th of July above the SE – SW horizon

the Clair Obscur Effect known as the eyes of Clavius will be visible along the terminator

and would be best viewed @ approx 19.40 hrs BST 18.40 hrs UTC

the Sun will be above the horizon as this event is taking place

 if you plan to observe / image this event

DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITHOUT THE CORRECT SOLAR FILTER FITTED TO YOUR EQUIPMENT

OR SOLAR SAFETY GLASSES FOR YOUR EYES

and remember to dress for the conditions
