A Clair Obscur Effect

In the early evening of Tuesday the 23rd of June above the SE – S horizon

a Clair Obscur effect known as Plato’s Hook will be visible on the Moon

this effect should be visible @ approx 19.15 hrs

as the Sun will be above the horizon

 please remember your solar safety :-

DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN

WITHOUT THE CORRECT SOLAR FILTER FITTED TO YOUR EQUIPMENT

OR SOLAR SAFETY GLASSES FOR YOUR EYES
