A huge congratulations to our member Ms Janice McClean on being nominated as the new president of the British Astronomical Association (BAA). Janice starts her term as BAA president after taking over from Dr David Arditti in October 2024. Her appointment was confirmed at the BAA’s meeting today (Wednesday 5 June 2024).
