At 14.00 hrs on Thursday the 22nd of April the Lyrid Meteor Shower will reach it’s peak

as the peak is reached during daylight hours

it would be best to observe this shower on the nights of 21ts – 22nd & 22nd – 23rd of April

unfortunately the Moon will obscure all but the brightest Meteors from this shower

if you do plan to image / observe this event remember to dress for the conditions
