an 88% lit waxing gibbous Moon will be to the right of the star Antares

and the apparent distance between both bodies will decrease

until approx 00.00 hrs when the moon will be 2.2° from Antares

after which the apparent distance will start to increase

as both bodies start to set from approx 00.30 hrs
